1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Bizit LLC (“Bizit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of GroxStudio, including the GroxStudio Mac app and related licensing. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using GroxStudio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use GroxStudio.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use GroxStudio for an organization, you represent that you may bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Software
GroxStudio may change as it develops. Back up important work, review proposed file changes, and use Help → Reveal Log Folder when reporting a problem instead of sharing sensitive project content.
3. Your license to use GroxStudio
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use GroxStudio on Macs you own or control. Your license may be associated with a random Support ID and may be checked periodically to confirm entitlement status.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, share, or transfer a license, or attempt to bypass licensing or entitlement checks. Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify GroxStudio.
4. Entitlements and GroxStudio Pro
GroxStudio uses a random Support ID to manage licensing and entitlements.
A lifetime entitlement, once granted to your Support ID, is permanent and future pricing changes will not remove it. It is a one-time Pro entitlement for the commercial lifetime of the current GroxStudio product while we continue to make that product available and support its licensing service. It does not mean your lifetime or our lifetime, does not guarantee any minimum support period, and does not automatically include a materially different successor product.
If paid plans are offered, checkout, renewal, cancellation, taxes, and refunds follow the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, charges are generally non-refundable. Billing or entitlement questions: use the SwiftDev contact page or [email protected].
5. Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the prompts, attachments, files, credentials, secrets, and other content you use with GroxStudio, and for reviewing actions and output before relying on them. AI and command-line tools can produce incorrect, incomplete, or harmful results. Maintain human oversight, backups, and appropriate access controls.
GroxStudio works with the Grok CLI and xAI. You need your own xAI relationship for model use. Secret values you store are encrypted locally until resolved for use. Once a value is disclosed to a model or tool, it may be repeated in model output, tool output, diagnostic logs, or saved history.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use GroxStudio to violate law, another person’s rights, or applicable third-party terms;
- introduce malware, interfere with the service, probe its security without authorization, or gain unauthorized access;
- circumvent licensing, access controls, usage restrictions, or security measures; or
- use GroxStudio in a way that creates unreasonable risk or disruption for others.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms, to protect users or the product, or where required by law.
7. Third-party services
GroxStudio depends on services provided by others. Depending on what you use, these may include:
- xAI and Grok CLI for model requests, responses, and related CLI services
- xAI speech-to-text when you use Voice
- Apple for macOS, Keychain, and platform services
- GitHub for app update checks and release downloads when those features run
- Licensing / billing providers (for example entitlement or checkout services) when licensing or purchases are used
Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability can affect GroxStudio. We are not responsible for third-party outages, content, charges, or policy changes.
8. Availability, updates, and security
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that GroxStudio will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Network conditions, your Mac’s status, third-party services, and software updates can affect reliability.
You are responsible for keeping your devices, operating systems, GroxStudio, Grok CLI, credentials, and backups current and secure. We may require updates where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, or licensing.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GroxStudio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
GroxStudio is not designed for uses where failure could cause death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental harm. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, use, goodwill, or business interruption. Our total liability arising from GroxStudio will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for GroxStudio during the twelve months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms as GroxStudio changes. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Bizit LLC at its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement about GroxStudio unless you and we have a separate written agreement that says otherwise.
